Industrial overhead doors are the ideal solution for large-span door openings in industrial settings. Featuring a vertical or articulated lifting design, the door panel retracts upward along a track, significantly saving space on both sides of the opening. The door leaf is constructed from double-layer color-coated steel sheets or polyurethane composite panels, with a high-density polyurethane foam core, delivering outstanding wind resistance and superior thermal insulation while operating reliably across a wide temperature range from –20°C to 50°C. Precise balance is achieved through a torsion-spring system or counterweight mechanism, and the door’s versatile track systems and lifting configurations can be flexibly customized to suit specific building structures and spatial constraints.

2. Classification and Enhancement Methods

Based on differences in operating modes, industrial overhead doors mainly include standard overhead doors, vertical overhead doors, high-headroom overhead doors, sliding doors, and sectional overhead doors. Furthermore, small secondary doors can be incorporated into the main door leaf to provide emergency egress functionality.
